Pet Agreement & Visitor Guide
We are excited to host you and your furry friend! To ensure a safe, peaceful stay for all guests, please read and agree to our pet guidelines.
The Basics
We welcome up to two well-mannered dogs per room. Cats, birds, and other animals are not permitted without special permission.
Fee: $20 per dog, per night.
Booking: Some of our rooms are pet friendly and others are not. You must reserve a designated pet-friendly room in advance and disclose your pets.
House Rules & Etiquette
Inside: Keep dogs off the furniture (including beds). Dogs must be fully housebroken, and they cannot be left unattended for extended periods if they bark or cry.
Outside: Dogs must be leashed at all times to protect against wildlife and respect other guests. Please stick to communal areas, sidewalks, and driveways.
Waste: Always bag waste and use our dumpsters (baggie stations are located around the property).
Health: Dogs must be flea-free and up-to-date on Rabies, DHLPP/DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. Tip: Check for ticks after every walk, as they are common in our wilderness area!
Fees & Fines
Guests are solely responsible for any damages or messes. We inspect rooms upon check-out, and charges are as follows:
- Undisclosed Pet / Pet in a Non-Pet Room: $250 immediate charge, plus the standard pet fee/cleaning costs.
- Pet Waste Left Behind (Inside or Out): $100 – $250.
- Excessive Cleaning (e.g., fur on furniture): $50 – $100.
- Property Damage / Pest Fumigation: Dependent on repair costs or lost rental income.
Behavior & Zero Tolerance Policy
We have a zero-tolerance policy for aggression, biting, and continuous disturbances. Dogs that are unpredictable or disruptive are not allowed. If a dog is aggressive, or if we receive three noise complaints, you will be required to remove the pet immediately. Guests are responsible for finding alternative boarding or leaving early without a refund, as well as covering any related kennel or transportation fees.
Service Dogs & ESAs
We gladly welcome ADA-recognized service animals at no extra charge (advance notice is appreciated!). Service dogs must be housebroken and under the handler's control. Please note that under the ADA, Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are treated as standard pets and are subject to all standard fees, rules, and pet-friendly cabin restrictions.
Wilderness Risks & Liability Release
Our property is located in a wilderness setting with rugged terrain, wildlife, and pet-resistant rodent bait stations. By bringing your pet, you acknowledge these risks and accept full liability for any injury, claim, or property damage. Guests agree to hold harmless North Yellowstone Hospitality LLC and its staff against any losses or claims.
